Nice work! Your figure could use a little work. The torso is to long and the face needs some detail, or definition of shape. Your space is also working against you. Think about how you can crop it to make a stronger image.
Your figure is blurring with your background. Change one black to something else from either your background or your figure. There is so much space not used that your figure could be scaled bigger or maybe a landscape could work , have you tried changing between both formats? Like Chad said, your figure needs some work, maybe show a little more detail and not have him in the shadows too much.
I like it! maybe a little shadow or a thin white line around it but just small adjustments and your good to go. the colors of the background is so hypnotizing
