Mardi Gras

I had Design two posters with only the similarity mask as you see on the left and right. However; the bottom middle was suppose to be in its on poster but thought to myself that it be cool to combine them together.

  1. Great use of color in those roadrunner like masks. However, the use of gradients is not always going to work out when it comes to printing. Depending on our ancient printer in the lab, the gradients will come out in streaks if the ink runs low. maybe play with the colors more but there are ways to get a gradient like feel. Otherwise great looking roadrunners!

The singular mask looks good too. kinda looks like a traditional dancer when viewed by some.
Great illustration work. keep making more! ^-^

  2. Great ideas! Like previously stated, work on the colors so that they can, not only, be easily replicated when it comes to printing, but also look good once they are printed instead of getting weird looking streaks. Great job overall...

  3. I love this but there isn't much room for text unless you are going to reduce the opacity on one of them so that the text will overlay. In my opinion. one of the masks that reflect each other will be perfect instead of two.... I think less is more but other than the printing issue that was presented your piece is awesome

  4. I love the masks. Make sure and make the eyes transparent or see through on the two identical masks. It could be simpler to just use one mask. Try it and see what it looks like.
