Mardi Gras Ex:2

Just another example I like to share, it was just a suggestion used in mind. The background brings out the whole area.

  1. Again, gradients, guess you can tell i don't like gradients. Are you going with the black contours or no contours? stick to one and you will have a cohesive piece that work with each other. The ones with black outlines really pop out but the ones without, they melt into the background. It can still pop out like the others but color and placement will really make them shine. Just a note on that.

  2. Nice! I do like the border you have going on your piece. I would however would simplify the background more just because it won't look as nice when it is printed. Other than that, the masks are really cool.

  3. I like the other! :) but the piece is nice... and Michelle is right about the gradients... they are just a pain to print on printers in this area.. :)

  4. Your first masks that you made were great. Don't worry about making more. You have to try and stay away from gradients. Gradients look great on a monitor but doesn't come out well when it comes time to print. Other than that your poster looks great.
